Neil Gibson began his involvement in the insurance claims industry as a summer employee while attending the University of Western Ontario. In 1992 he began full time employment working on both property and casualty losses developing a specialized knowledge on film and contingency claims. Between 1998 and 2001 he oversaw the day-to-day operations of Gaebel, Watkins and Taylor International’s New York City offices. In February 2006 he joined Crawford’s Global Technical Services Toronto and continues to represent various carriers internationally in the fields of Motion Picture and Television Production, Non-Appearance, Event and Venue Coverage, Theatre, Music, Photography, Prize Indemnity, and Over Redemption. The 2012 conference is Neil’s second year on the NACA board.

Sean Fisher has served as HCC Specialty Liability Program Manager since 2007. He is the primary underwriter of the day-to-day business within the liability program, as part of the company’s Contingency Division. Sean joined HCCSU in 2006 as an Assistant Underwriter, working primarily with the company’s event cancellation and special event liability products. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

In 2011, Tom Bracken begins his first year on the NACA Board. He is a partner in the New York office of Stalker Vogrin Bracken & Frimet. SVBF represents insurers in all aspects of business, including regulatory issues, coverage opinions, litigation, and appeals. Tom has been handling Entertainment and Contingency matters, including issues on film finance, event cancellation, and prize indemnity since the late 1990’s. In the past, Tom has spoken and participated on several NACA conference panels. As a Board Member, Tom will assist in implementing the NACA membership growth plan, sponsorship, and communications, as well as planning the annual conference.

Peter has 30 years experience in the insurance industry, 25 of which have been spent
as an international loss adjuster. He has worked and resided in London, Saudi Arabia,
Athens, Brussels, New York and Los Angeles. He has extensive experience in multi-national
risks, having handled major losses in nearly every continent in the world.
In Los Angeles, Peter specialized in major entertainment claims for the film, rock/pop
and leisure industries, including administration of substantial self-insured programs
for major studios and entertainment companies. Peter also has extensive experience
in the investigation of major theft losses from the financial, jewelry and art worlds.
In 2009, Peter joined OneBeacon Insurance Company to act as head of Entertainment
Claims at Entertainment Brokers International. In September 2010, he was promoted
to President of the Entertainment Division and is currently responsible for OneBeacon
Entertainment which owns and operates EBI.
Peter is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and an Associate of the Chartered
Institute of Loss Adjusters. He has been a guest speaker at a number of international
conferences, including RIMS, on aspects of Risk Management and Policy Development
and Interpretation issues for the entertainment, contingency and leisure industries.

In 2011, Wendy was elected to the North American Contingency Association’s Board
of Directors where she is currently serving a two-year term. Wendy is the Director
of Risk Management at SCA Promotions, Inc., a leading provider of prize coverage
for promotional contests. Wendy has been with SCA in Dallas, Texas for 13 years
and is responsible for the development and administration of SCA’s risk programs,
including the management and compliance of internal processes and procedures within
SCA.
Along with the other NACA board members, Wendy will be increasing NACA’s social
media presence to provide members a way to stay up to date on the latest industry
news and NACA events.

Marlene joined Marsh in 2010 as Promotion and Event Specialist. Prior to Marsh,
Marlene was Vice President of US Sales for a top Lloyds of London market. In her
previous role she worked with Fortune 500 companies assisting them to mitigate/transfer
risk on consumer marketing and promotional programs. She also provided clients promotional
solutions to leverage their budget to create high impact promotions that get consumers
to react and interact with their brand either on or offline.
Marlene has a substantial number of years of experience in the Events, Entertainment,
and Sports arena, specializing in promotional risk management.
Marlene has provided promotional risk management services for a client list which
includes consumer packaged goods, quick service restaurants, beverage, professional
leagues and teams, athletes, promotional/advertising agencies and major concert
or sporting events.

Gerald Billow starts his eighth term on the NACA Board in 2011. Gerald is one of
the founding members with the accounting firm of Quintana, Lopez, Donoghue & Gonzalez,
LLP. Quintana, Lopez, Donoghue & Gonzalez, LLP is a Domestic and International Forensic
Accounting Firm specializing in worldwide loss and claims accounting and litigation
services for insurance companies and their representatives.
As Treasurer, Gerald manages the accounting activities for NACA.
