London Society Golf Day

As spring seems to have finally arrived and the fair weather golfers have now dusted
off the winter cobwebs from the clubs and donned their finest pastel jumpers in
preparation for the highlight of 2011 golf season, the London Society is delighted
to announce its annual golf day will be held at Nizel's Golf Club on Friday 10 June.
I am sure the honour of lifting the Contingency Cup Masters will once again be bitterly
contested.

Following requests from the non-golfers, and new to the 2011 golf day, the club
have kindly agreed to put together a package for the keen beginners provided there
is sufficient interest. This will include:
• 2 hour group lesson on the basics of golf. This is designed for beginners who
have never picked up a club before or who are not keen on doing a full 18 holes
of the course;
• A guest pass for use of the pool and spa facilities; and
• 3 course lunch.
There are limited spaces available for this option - ideally the club would be looking
to put together a group of between 6 to 8 people. So if this would be of interest
to you, please could you kindly let me know as soon as possible so I can finalise
arrangements and the price with the club. I would anticipate it will cost about
£60 depending on numbers.
For the seasoned pro's, the format will be as in previous years and is £52. The
format of the day is as follows:
8.30am - Tea/coffee & Bacon Bap
9.30am – for the seasoned golfers: 18 Holes of scintillating Golf OR for the keen
beginners and non-golfers Golf lessons followed by use of the spa and swimming pool.
3.30pm – Awards ceremony, 3 Course Meal and drinks
